Thanks to the recordings from the Jazz at the Castle concerts, the Multisonic catalog is able to map not only great European and American jazzmen but also today’s best Czech jazzmen of different styles and generations. The concert of the New York formation of organist Ondřej Pivec (1984). The concert of Pivec’s formation was an example of mainstream jazz the way it is played in New York clubs. The fact that a young Czech musician is the leader of the band comprising of excellent American jazzmen proves that the overseas success of Czech jazzmen from the 1960s continues even now.
